Vincent Van Gogh 1853-1890
Vincent Van Gogh is a amazing artist. He had a brain disorder. That mean he would do stuff you would not do. He painted many pictures. His most famous is Starry Night which is to the left. He has many other paintings too. He did not know he wanted to be a artist at first. He only painted for ten years. One day his brother Theo told him to come to Paris and he did but hated it and left. Then he wanted to have tones of artist come a live together. So his brother Theo paid an artist to live with Vincent. They got in to fights one day the artist decided to leave. Vincent got so anger he cut his ear off. He even painted a picture of him with the bandage on. The after awhile Vincent got so mad that he shot himself. Theo came in to stay with him. He died three days later. Since they wanted to burn Vincent picture Theo's wife kept them. Thanks to Theo's wife that we are able to see Vincent's photos. That is why he is famous.

Claude Monet is a amazing artist. He was a impressionist artist. That means he used bright color, thick paint was put on the canvas, and the brush marks were bumpy. He painted outside. Thanks to the paint tube. Claude Monet was not interested in the color of the object or the marital it was made of. He wanted to record to a moment in time. Leo was the one who also painted The Last Supper. Leo was born on April 15 1452 in Vinci Italy. The city was named after him. He was a amazing man. He was not only a artist he was a inventor. He tried to invent thing that we have today. He hade tones of ideas. One day he had a idea that sounded like a great one at the time, he wanted to invent a piece of gear that makes man fly. But he failed when testing it. Ever one wanted to copy his work or know what he was doing. But they couldn't because he learn to write upside down. Edvard Munch was a amazing artist. Edvard is most famous for his artwork The Scream which is next to this biography. Edvard Munch was born on December 12, 1863 in Norway. Edvard died at age 80 on January 23, 1944 in Norway. Edvard was a German Expressionist. He made all of his painting have expressions on there faces, that also meant that he mostly painted picture of humans. When Edvard died most of his artworks are in Olso Norway. Leonid Afremov is a AMAZING artist. He was born July 12 1955. Afremov is a prolific painter. He has painted about 4,000 wonderful paintings since 1995.He was a huge jazz fan. HE was inspired by jazz. Leonid loved it. His paintings are in museums and homes all over the world. Leonid enjoyed traveling, most artist didn't. Leo used a palette knife to paint. It looked great but was hard to master.
